Last night was the homecoming dance. The night before that was the game. I went to the game last year, but this was the first time I went to the dance. It was fun.

Homecoming is the first home game in a long time and when a bunch of alumni come back to see the game and visit. It's fun, at the game all these different clubs make floats and stuff for the parade. This year's theme was "Paris at Night". I should try and get pictures up from the dance.

Yeah, I'd love to see pictures of it. We have nothing as exciting as that in England *wishes she went to school in America where they have exciting things*

It's not all that exciting. And it depends on the school you go to.

I guess thats the same in England.
My school is just so boring, the teachers try and restrict amounts of fun to a minimum, or so it seems!!!
I think state schools probably do more fun things that we do. *sighs*

Would state schools be public schools? I'm sorry, I'm always confused when you guys are talking.

Ummm. Well state schools are the ones that you don't have to pay to go to. I guess they would have more fun than private schools.
Some close to my house finish at like 2.30pm on Fridays, but I still have to cary on untill 3.45 *grumbles*
I guess it is pretty confusing, like the whole homecoming thing!!

Yes, that would be a public school. I end at 2.25 and my siblings end at 2.15 (which is when I ended when I went there). We start at 7.25 in the morning. The elementary public schools here start at like, 8.00 and go until 3.30 (I'm not sure exactly when they start, it's somewhere around there).

Yeah, here publich schools are some kind of private school but Im not sure what the difference is between a normal private school and a public school (must check)
Well at the school I go to we start at 8.45 and finish at 4.45!
Today it was actually REALLY fun in English (though the teacher is really nice and is soooo hilarious) we randomly started taking about Ruth Ellis and she was on the internet reading LOADS of information about her to the class and how about 20 years ago there was a film about her (I practically screamed in class) which was wonderful and the actress was just incredible!!!!!!!!!! (Yay, my English teacher is a Miranda fan!!!!!!!!!)

Since we're talking about school...
McDavid, this guy, decided to jump on top of the science table, and missed...and probably hurt himself. Then Austin got ready to jump, just as Dr. Cox yelled "White men can't jump" It was SO funny.
I wore my goldish ballet flats to school yesterday, and a tie...don't ask. My outfit looked better than it sounds. Anywoo...Austin asked me where I got my shoes, and I said Target...then he said he liked them and was going to buy them. I laughed and walked to class. Little did I know that he actually bought them, and wore them to school! It was mortifying because he was serious!

He wore girls shoes to school?
Weird!
Do people randomly jump on tables in the presence of teachers at your school? I dread to think what our teachers would do if we did that! We do tap dance on them when no one is around!!!
