OK. Random fact.
I don’t know if it’s already been mentioned before, but there was this other Merlin film shot at the same time as Merlin. It’s called “Merlin – the Magic Begins”, and the random fact is that Paul Curran was in it as well. He played Kay in this small movie, which was shot in Peebles, Scotland, then travelled to Wales to play Arthur.

I think there is a scene with Frik where you can see the microphone box on his belt but I am not sure . . . Well, not a full 100%

Yep, you can find it on Amazon, I believe. I got a copy for Christmas. It's only for Region 1, though, so if anyone DOESN'T live in a region one area, they'll need some device that enables them to play multiregion DVDs.
It's pretty good, it's got a commentary, the "Magical Making of Merlin" featurette, and some short featurettes on CGI- one of Mab's fireball, one of the Mountain King. As well as the film itself, obviously. However, seeing as the "Magical Making..." is included on the normal DVD, the main attraction is the director's commentary, so if you own a copy of Merlin already and aren't all that interested in a commentary, there's not a great deal of point in getting this. But it is rather shiny.
