Good job Melly! I've always been good in Spanish also..though it's probably because we never learn anything new...and it's terribly easy. All we do is review, from when we were in kindergarden. I've been taking spanish all my life.
I love Latin also, but this is my last year. It's rather ironic because Latin is a dead language, and though this is only my second year taking it...I can speak it fluently. Though I've taken more than 10 years of Spanish, and all I know are the basics...

It's difficult for me to speak spanish because of all the hardware in my mouth (braces), but I'm fairly good at reading and writing it. I'm just bad with accents, another reason why I could never take french. That and because I'd be so bad with how they don't pronounce so many things.

If you pronounce something wrong in Spanish, it can have a whole different meaning. So confusing. Also, if you say "Estoy embarrasado" it looks like "I'm embarrassed." Actually...it means "I'm pregnant." Ironic...

It's okay, I'm pretty close with most of them, it's just hard on my mouth.

Hey I had braces too. I had them off about a year ago, but I still have to wear a retainer at night, but I kinda didn't for ages becuase I hate it and it makes my mouth taste all funny becuase of the plastic and now it doesn't really fit since my teeth must have moved! So thats one meeting with the orthodontist Im not looking forward to (as if I EVER look forward to an appointment)
That whole Im embarrised/ pregnant thing is remarkably close!!!

Does having braces hurt at all?

It hurts for a few days when they first put them on, then it stops. But then it hurts every time they move something or add something.

Yeah, it does hurt when he tightens it or somethimg like that! I just lay back and think of Blackadder/ Miranda things though! Like go through scripts etc. I find that always helps!!!!

They don't play music where I go, but his surgery looks like a jungle becuase its painted green and has loads of plats in there, even this weird kind of pot tree with a toy parot sitting in it!!
Looks can be diecieveing (sp) becuase it looks quite nice and friendly but once you are in the chair....
