I just love any kind of song really. Just not rap-that's not music, it's a bunch of constipated people trying to be poetic (and it doesn't work). I think I love you ;D As one of my friends says, rap is spelt with a silent "c" at the beginning.

The "c" stands for constipated.

Sorry, I just had to find a place to blabber on. But on Wednesday night I went to see a play with Dawn French in. OMG seriously, I was SO over excited for the whole week. She was amzing and I was laughing my head off the whole time. I even saw one of my teachers there too!! I was planning to hide behind stage and take over her identity and then meet people like Jennifer Saunders and of course Miranda! When they came on stage after the play was over, I swear I had nver clapped so hard in all my life, the only thing that could have ben better, was if Miranda had ben in it too...but alas no!

That sounds awesome Queenie! I love anything that makes me laugh. It's one of my favorite things to do in the world. Plus, it's healthy! I've got a bunch of music playing in my head right now. Here's just a few of them... Easy Street from Annie Escape (the Pina Colada Song)-Rupert something Witchy Woman-Kristin Chenoweth Just about every song from Wicked And a ton more...

I'll rush to our dear mod's side and aid her on her quest to revive some of the older threads.
I'm currently listening to 'Mordred's Song' by Blind Guardian, again and again and again and ... well, you get the point.

Cheers Incap *hugs her* Just trying to get the boards new formation working... Is this Mordred from King Arthur Legend (or the real version, Merlin?! )...Is it about him? I'm listening to Random Blinking Light by Darren Hayes....in my humble opinion, the most sincere, truthful man in music. RBL is an amazing song, really sweet. xxxx

It's about Mordred in general, about being pressed into a certain fate and having no chance of escaping. wait, I'll find you the lyrics:
Mordred's Song
I've lost my battle before it starts My first breath wasn't done My spirit's sunken deep Into the ground Why am I alone? I can hear my heartbeat Silence's all around
See hate will rise So don't come closer Fear your own child Born with a king's heart But fate fooled me And changed my cards Noone asked if I want it If I like it
Ref.: Pain inside is rising I am the fallen one A figure in an old game No Joker's on my side I plunged into misery I'll turn off the light And murder the dawn Turn off the light And murder the dawn
Nothing else But laughter is around me Forevermore Noone can heal me Nothing can save me Noone can heal me I've gone beyond the truth It's just another lie Wash away the blood on my hands My father's blood In agony we're unified
I never wanted to be What they told me to be Fulfill my fate then I'll be free God knows how long I tried to change fate
(Solo)
Ref.
(Solo)
I plunged into misery I'll turn off the light And murder the dawn Turn off the light And murder the dawn

Yes, please do, Incapa.
As for me, I've been listening to "Hard Rock Hallelujah" all night in celebration of the heavy metal victory at Eurovision!

Right now, I am listening to the soundtrack for 'Perfect Strangers', which is one of Steven Poliakoff's films. I'm in love with his work, and I'm in love with this soundtrack. It's so haunting.
I got the DVD sent to me from Phoebe, and the soundtrack on Amazon for 3 quid. All in all, a bargain, I think.
