This is SOOOOOO awesome! You are very lucky. I think it's amazing that she actually sits down and answers her fan mail like this. Now I wish you had taken pictures of what you sent her. I'm curious what it looked like .
(totally pinched the idea for my new avatar from Kath_Richardson! ... hope you don't mind too much)
This is what I sent her XD I always take pics before I send stuff cause you never get it back. This is the award thing, front and inside, there was also the poem on paper written in many different colours of pen and before that I had sent a christmas card and fanmail letter, but she only replied about the awardy thing/poem.
The poem was about her and about she doesn't care if people hate her style and that we thought she should have an award cause she didn't win the oscar and that we love her and such XD I wrote it all still can't believe I got a reply

Oh my goodness I adore Helena!! I will admit I loved her longer than I loved Miranda (and they're probably tied), ever since I saw her in Sweeney Todd. Nellie Lovett was seriously the first fictional character I ever truly adored. And I've loved everything I've seen her ever since. Harry Potter, Merlin, Twelfth Night, King's Speech, and of course Sweeney Todd are my personal faves but if anyone's ever heard of the movie Heart of Me. . . that one's probably a little more special. I got it during kind of a dark point in our family's life and while it kind of hit below the belt, Helena was so amazing in it that loved it more than I probably should have. She's just so pretty and quirky and unique and down to earth and . . . and and and I just love her, okay?
Oh and has anyone seen her in Dark Shadows yet? She's fantastic in that as always.
