LOL, it was! And yesh, she was very huggly - I had to be dragged into most of the pictures because I was shy, and I remember thinking 'omg, she's so tiny, I'd better not break her...' before she squashed me half to death herself. During the dinner and backstage trip, she also pushed me, elbowed me, shook me, and hit me across the head, so yup, she is pretty hands on. *smile* I also met our very own dear Himiko at the concert. We meant to meet up in the day, take many merry pictures, and boast about being one of the elite few Mirandaites who have seen each other in person - but, er, my phone wasn't working and we didn't. -_- So we had to make do with "omg, hi! *glomp* kthxbai! *eyes glued to stage*"

Oh, that would have been awesome! She sounds like a wonderful person. Did Himiko have a VIP ticket as well?
I would love to see Tarja in concert. Sadly, I doubt she'll ever come to Australia. Hopefully I make it back to Europe, and she does a concert there while I am around.
I wonder how many of us there are who have met other Mirandites? I met Fran for the Wah Wah premiere, and Englishwannabe here when she came to Sydney on holiday.
Ahh, if only Miranda would do a play or something eventually so all the British Mirandites could organise a Fangirl Field Trip (tm) or something.

Nah, I'll do it for her. *hits* I get the feeling I'm being ganged up on. and to give this post a vague sense of being on topic, I liked the show more than the Dream Theater one I went too. Especially the bass solo. My jaw dropped, I tell you. Took me a while to pick it up, as well.

Argh, those PICTURES!
I'm so jealous, there are absolutely no words. That must have been a once in a lifetime experience.
And if you Brit guys ever organise a field trip, I'll come swimming across the channel and join you. We could have jackets for the occasion, to give, once more, proof of our utter and complete sanity.

Oh, that would have been awesome! She sounds like a wonderful person. Did Himiko have a VIP ticket as well? Nope, I am a hardcore miser. The concert was still wonderful though. Hit you, dear Minky? What gives you that idea? *hits you over the head with a house* And indeed, next time Tarja comes here, we must try and actually meet up properly! I shall try and pester Joel into coming, too, and the holy trinity of Shrewsburians shall descend upon ye all!

Awwh, I hope you get the opportunity to see her, Hillo. So far "Europe, America, Asia and South America" is as specific as it's got for tour locations. She's said she'll come to England and Scotland, and I believe Crysta read in a magazine about her visiting Israel at some point. But nothing has been announced yet.

You're too lucky. Something I've been wondering...did you or anyone else ask her if she's finally listened to DPP? It seems like in every interview she keeps asking them to send it to her.

Asia? She has a market in Asia? I wouldn'ta thunkit.
*sigh* She won't come here. I don't even think the CD has been *released* here. I got mine on amazon.

You're too lucky. Something I've been wondering...did you or anyone else ask her if she's finally listened to DPP? It seems like in every interview she keeps asking them to send it to her. No one asked her because the subject has seriously been done to death. atm she maintains that she has it at home, and hasn't listened to it yet. I think that's a rather discreet way of saying "shutupandleavemealone". At first she said she didn't have the CD, and now that it's got to the stage where she's been sent multiple copies of the CD and people *know* she has it, she's saying she hasn't had time to listen to it. Which is probably pretty diplomatic. Saying anything about the album would create another surge of media interest, particularly if she doesn't like it. Keeping schtum is, imho, the classiest thing she can do.

Ok. I don't mind if she doesn't tell us her opinion on it. I just wanted to see if she's heard it.
