ladygiry, yes your right it does makes it more poignant and very touching. I just only realised that I also saw her in The Odessey as the goddess Circe. She was amazing *hearts in eyes*
helen, I found it very hard to believe it myself. When I looked at her profile on IMDB and saw that she was born in 1948 my jaw dropped to the floor. I even rechecked my calculations with a calculator to make sure I didn't confused anything LOL.

Crysta, ah, yes I love her as Circe. She was so perfect in the role. I just wish we saw more of her. *pouts*

Yes it seems like it is always a problem. There is never enough of Miranda in her movies as well. They almost never give the big parts to the realy classy and talented actors. What's up with that? Those movie makers won't know a real talent even if it'll hit them on the face with a baseball club.

So true. I mean, her part would've been made a bit more larger if they had included the part where Odysseus and his men return to her briefly at Aeaea after visiting the land of the dead. But the idiots decided it wasn't necessary, obviously.

Of course! How tipical... Just like when they decided that it wasn't necessery to include the part where Miranda sings in the Phantom of the Opera. Why do they always cut out the good parts??? *shakes fist at stupid movie makers*

Don't get me started on them downplaying Miranda's part in PoTO. *is very much Madame Giry obsessed* But, yeah, they always cut out the good parts with the great actresses/actors. Bernadette definitely deserved more screentime.

She does. She deserves to be in almost every scene of the movie. I wonder if there is such a movie where she get's most of the screentime. It would be perfect.

Well, she's in almost every scene in Disney's version of Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella. I swear, it is the only version where I fangirl the stepmother. Bernadette is just...brilliant. And gorgeous. And she sings. *loves her performance in that to death*

In that case I'll do everything to get my hands on that movie as fast as I can.

A wise move. She's just so deliciously nasty. "Don't cling to the past, Cinderella. It's not very attractive." "You're common, Cinderella. Your mother was common and so are you. Oh, you can wash your face and put on a clean dress but underneath you'll still be common. That a prince would even consider taking you for his bride, why, it's laughable!" Actually, it's purple, but it looks blue in the light (just saying). And she does look stunning in it and, in all honesty, I think the dress would look absolutely tacky on anyone else. And here's another clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e2_fyrCzms

*blink* *blink* Realy? *is color blind* It's still looks blue to me though . LOL Thanks for the clip, though I liked the previous one more couse Bernadette sings through all the clip there. *Is feeling like obsessive fan already* And you know what? I think you are right about that it wouldn't fit anyone else as good as it fits her. From what I've seen, that woman realy knows how to wear a dress.

Well, let's just say it's blueish purple and call it even. Yeah, I know it's better when Bernadette's singing the entire time. Unfortunately "Falling In Love With Love" is her only solo. And, you're absolutely right, the woman certainly does know how to wear a dress. And that one just looks fabulous on her with her figure and her complexion and her hair.
