While I love the orchestra parts of the last two albums, especially since I play the violin, I have to say Wishmaster is probably my favorite album. I just love every single song.

The special edition has bonus racks on the cd - "White Night Fantasy' and 'Live To Tell The Tale' and the video clip of Nemo, and it also comes with a single of 'Wish I Had An Angel', which has the regular version of the song, a demo version, 'Ghost Love Score', 'Where Were You Las Night', a photogallery and a screensaver.
If you haven't hear some of those ones, I can always upload them ;D

I've gotten all of those on limewire. I like live to tell the tale.

Big day today. The last day they accepted demo tapes from singers. I hope they will find someone soon.

Yup, it took me quite a while after hearing that to stop hearing those lyrics when I listen to the song lol. It's addicting.

Whilst on the subject (sort of) of the new Nightwish album, are there any other music releases for us to get excited about this year?
I know that Sonata Arctica is releasing a new album (Unia) at soe point this year
Within Temptation's new album (The Heart of Everything) will be available in March.
I believe Leaves' Eyes are planning to make a live DVD at some point (they will be headlining the "Metal Female Voices Festival" in Belgium in october, and that concert will make up part of the DVD, so i'm not sure that it'll be ready for release by the end of the year, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed).
Tarja Turunen (of former Nightwish glory) is apparently about to start working on a new solo album too, but again, no idea when it's out. She's also been voted "Best femle singer" in Finland, and some 30% of the country tuned in to watch one of her Xmas concerts.
Tristania (Norwegian gothic/doom metal) have already released their 5th full length album to mostly positive reviews- some thought it too gloomy sounding, others thought it was great. Vibeke Stene's voice got the most coverage, unsurprisingly, though she is only one of three vocalists (I haven't heard this album however)
Therion have also released their new album "Gothic Kabbalah". From what I hear, it's traditional Therion fare- big choirs, big orchestras, completely over the top for epicness. I haven't heard it, but I'm considering buying it.
Tarot (Marco from Nightwish is vocalist in this band- he might do bass as well, I'm not sure) has released another album- "Crows Fly Back" I think it's called.
I know Minkaro is very excited about the fact that Guns n Roses are releasing a new album, but that's all I know about it .
Anyone else hear anything exciting happening in the world of metal?
