Please don't tell me I'm the only one on this site to know of her? The woman can do anything: she's a singer/actress/director/producer/composer combo and is a major force to be reckoned with in my opinion. She is majorly talented and is the best selling female recording artist of all time and has won a total of 47 awards (including Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammys, Emmys, and a Tony). I simply adore her...and I'm going to see her live in concert on October 13th!!!!!!!!

I wasn't a fan of hers until I watched Yentl a few weeks ago and I thought she was fantastic in it. Now I think she's great.

Yentl is one of her best. And it really showcases her talent because she directed it, produced it, helped write it, and starred in it. I'm glad you like her now.

I've just realised it was her in Meet the Fockers. What an amazingly talented woman. Enjoy her concert in October. I'm sure she'll be fantastic. You're really lucky to get the chance to see her perform live.

*squeals* Yay! More Streisand fans! *does a little happy dance* Okay, fangirl moment over. And, for the record, even though it was months ago, the concert was unbelievable. I swear, the building shook on some of the high-powered notes!

I've watched Yentl a couple more times now and I absolutely adore it! There was a Simpsons episode based on it on TV a few weeks ago.

I must confess, I've only watched Yentl twice. It's excellent, but not my favorite. I'll take Funny Girl over anything any day.

I am obsessed with Funny Girl, I admit it willingly. It was Barbra's very first movie (she also originated the role on broadway)and she won a well-deserved Oscar for it. It is the only movie I adore more than PoTO.
