Merlin..badly...acted??? ::shudders::
As for the casts I've seen, I saw the original Chicago cast and most of the original US National Tour cast.
Chicago was:
Elphaba: Ana Gasteyer Galinda: Kate Reinders Mme Morrible: Rondi Reed Nessa: Heidi Kettenring Boq: Telly Lueng Fiyero: Kristoffer Cusick The Wizard: Gene Weygandt
Nat. Tour was:
Elphaba: Stephanie J. Block Galinda: Kendra Kassebaum Mme Morrible: Carole Shelley Nessa: Jenna Leigh Green Boq: Logan Lipton Fiyero: Sebastian Arcelus The Wizard: David Garrison
I met all of the touring cast and all of the Chicago cast, minus Kate Reinders. She ditched me at the stagedoor twice. Everyone was a total sweetheart, especially Carole Shelley. She signed our stuff even though she had the flu.

Will I be shot if I admit I've never heard of it? I'm not very much a musical person.
And Merlin badly acted? Even my mum admitted Miranda was good in it, and she's the one who almost sent me to see a therapeut because of my obsession!

I've heard of it, but never seen or heard it. And as for Merlin being badly acted.... Well, I don't want to say anything nasty or violent about people's relatives but MY GOD WERE THEY WATCHING THE SAME MERLIN? Mab is absolute perfection, and Miranda played her brilliantly!!! Anyone who says otherwise is just plain WRONG! My Mum once said that Mab's voice was annoying. I looked at her as though she'd just slaughtered a small animal, and I think she got a bit worried... other than that she likes Merlin generally, but not as much as I do. She's a bit sick of watching it... Also one of my friends has taken to randomly shouting wierd and depraved stuff about Mab across the road at me to get get on my nerves. Then he flees in terror...

Those who have not heard of Wicked should try to hear some songs from it ;D
I would recommend 'Popular', 'For Good', 'As Long As You're Mine' and 'What Is This Feeling'!
Brilliant songs they are! ;D

I've not seen Wicked yet, I can't wait till it comes over to London later this year. I don't know if you all know yet, but Idina Menzel will play Elphaba for the first 3 months in London and then a wonderful actress called Kerry Ellis takes over.

Just on the off chance xxx I didn't see Kerry in We Will Rock You, but I've seen her in Les Miserables (my favourite musical) and Miss Saigon. I'm waiting until she takes over until I see Wicked. The complete cast list is on the Wicked official website. The girl playing Glinda is called Helen Dallimore (not me sadly) and Adam Garcia is playing Fiyero.

What other musicals do you like? Haha, when I find a musical fan, I bleed 'em dry!!
One of my new faves is 'Sunday In The Park With George'...I've seen it twice in London, and it affects me so deeply.

Bleed me dry then! I like Phantom and Blood Brothers and The Woman in White. Les Mis and Blood Brothers are my favourites. They're both so sad. I also liked the stage show of Chicago. Film's awful but the stage show is really good. I've not seen Sunday in the Park with George and I won't have time to go when I'm next in London cos I'm taking my friend to see Les Mis and Phantom as he's never seen them before and I'm only there for two days. What're you're favourites?

You like Woman In White!!! And Blood Brothers! Oh good taste, good taste. Do you know of Ruthie Henshall? Saw her in WIW and Chicago...she's a goddess. Yeah, Chicago is amazing on stage but I also hated the film. So sad because I was really looking forward to seeing it. I love musical films, they are so exciting. My faves are.....Rent, Tick Tick Boom, The Last Five Years, Wicked, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, Into The Woods, Evita, Sunday In The Park..., Company...the list goes on Blood Brothers though...I've only seen it once but I don't think I could see it again. I wept! It was horrible, it just devastated me. I was all snotty!! xxxx

I absolutely LOVE Ruthie Henshall! I saw her in The Woman in White. She's amazing. I'm definately going to see Blood Brothers again, I cried so much last time, but I can't remember the last musical I saw where I didn't cry. Are you going to see the revival of Evita? I'm hopefully going around about Christmas.
