The only way I could think of is if we all uploaded some music onto a shared Yahoo group or something like that. However I am not sure whether that is legal, because obviously the music we would be sharing would be copywritten. Maybe we could set up our own group, and see whether we could upload music.

I know that on msn you can send files to people. Takes a while though, but it works.

Cos you can share music on there- not completely sure how just yet, but it's definitely possible! Oh and Kazaa's not behaving on this comp either so I'm stranded

Kat my dear, I apologise for the cock up that was that transaction. I am trying to convert the files into Windows Media, but alas it doesn't seem to work, I shall have to upload them again.
Yes Kazaa means that you can share music, as does something like Winmx. The only difficulty is - and Fran found this I believe - is finding what you want. I don't share my music, simply because my dad has so much stuff stored on here that he wouldn't like it - so no one can use a file sharing device and get my Krezip stuff. That doesn't make much sense, apologies.

I bought the soundtrack to the broadway version of The Phantom of the Opera(Andrew Lloyd Webber's version), and it's awesome! My favourite song is All I Ask of you! I heard that song when I took my sis to that show Broadway in Reno, and I liked the lady who sang in Reno better than the one on the cd, but both of the men who sang as the phantom were good. I love the violins in the backround, ahhh, la vie c'est l'amour, n'est ce pas? I also like the fact that the leading lady is named Christine, the french version of my name. I don't like being called Christine, though, because it makes me think that the person calling me that forgets that there is an A on the end of my name, and not an E. Oh well, rambling yet again. Sorry for that. Just wanted to know if anyone else had the cd, and what you all think of it? Hehehehe, I am going to use the overture music on Halloween night to scare people who come to my house looking for candy, lol! I shall hide in the shadows in front of my house, and when they come and knock on the door and say," Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat, etc." I shall frighten them away with that music, hehehe. I am such a devious little person, I know, but I cannot help myself. I have a pattern for my Halloween costume, but I have yet to buy the material for it. I bought the patterns for the pettilooms and green dress of Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind, lol. Those dresses actually become me. Funny, anything that looks good on me is out of style by at least 150 yrs., lol. One year I went as Martha Washington, President Washington's wife, and the dress looked good on me, and a couple years ago I was a southern belle, and I loooove those hoop skirts, lol. The only problem was trying to drive to work in that thing, hehehe. I could barely fit, and when I got out of my car, the dress flew up in my face, lol. Off topic again, but it's always fun to ramble, right?

oooooh, big dresses!!! i will join you in love for them!! I wish England made more of a big deal of Halloween like America does- i love it. That made me cackle about you playing the music and being a devious little person, hehe!! I have heard a fair few bits of Phantom, mainly the most famous stuff. I love All I ask of you too And the title song, and Think Of Me, Wishing you were somehow here again, angel of music..... i think i remember one line Madame Giry sings: 'here i have a note' and loads of people say 'let me see it' Just remember cos my brother must have played that a lot!! Must be the highlight of her role! xxxxx

;D Some people here go all-out for Halloween. Their whole house becomes a haunted house for people to walk through. My friends and I went to one last year, but it wasn't a house, but a professional place that did it. I wasn't scared once, but I did scare some of the employees who were working as different characters with my scream, hehehehe. My scream is so high-pitched that it makes the woman is Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho seem low in comparison, lol. That poor kid jumped so high, hehehe. They had a lot of fog in their, which made my asthma act up, but on the whole, it was fun. I used to take my sis tricker-treating, but now that she's 14, I shall stay at home and scare others. It's my calling. A lot of people decorate their homes, and people buy a ton of candy. I remember as a kid having bags full of candy from Halloween, and it would last past Christmas, hehehe. As a kid, you also had to be careful of candy snatchers. Older kids would take candy from the young ones, boo on them. Also, teens get a thrill of smashing pumpkins in the streets for some inane reason. It's beyond me. Also, sometimes teens will throw toilet paper all over people's homes, and throw eggs on cars and homes. It gets pretty wild here on Halloween. People don't really think about evil spirits, etc. Halloween here is all jest, it seems, but it's the best way to get free candy, lol. As young as I look, I could dress up and go tricker-treating, and no one would be the wiser, lol. One year my mum dressed me up as Superwoman, I think I was 3, hehe. Another year I was Punky Brewster, it was a character from an American telly show that was on the 80's(the best decade). My favourite costume, however, was that of the southern belle. If I could get away with it, I would wear my soon-to-be-made Scarlett O'Hara dress everyday. People would think me insane though. Why can't those dress styles come back in style? cries..... Everything made today is for flat-chested people, not for people like me, boohoo. Not everyone is rail thin like a tooth pick. Some of us actually have meat on our bones, thank you very much. It's my Swedish side, obviously. Since I am 1/4 Swedish, I can't tan, and in California, it's not good to be as pale as I am. It's considered hokey. I wish I lived back in the Victorian times, I would fit right in! hehehe. It used to be considered good to have pale skin. Hmph! With so many people getting skin cancer, I shan't go out in the sun, only to acquire skin cancer in 20 years, and have leathery skin, eeew. Well, I have rambled and gone off-topic enough. I shall stop. You see, once I start talking or typing, it's hard for me to stop. hehehe. A bientot, mes amis!

And i know what you mean, i love those dresses, my drama company are doing Dracula and Les Liasons Dangeroux in the next two years, and i can't wait!! Corsets are just my favourite kind of costume!! I think you're right, i would also have fitted in better in another age, so i could live in my castle in my corset ;D xxxxxxxxx

Yes, it would have been nice to wear those dresses everyday and to live in a castle, but would you want to live in a time when women had very few or no rights at all? As horrible as some things are today, at least we are allowed to vote and can control our own destinies. We are no longer subjected to arranged marriages(except in some cultures, but not here in the US or in Britain). We are able to do what we want with our lives. If we want to be an astronaut, we can, or whatever else we want to do. Had I lived in the Middle Ages, I would have been burned at the stake for being an insubordinate wife, hehehe. Taking orders from others has never been my strong suit, lol. Those times were better in regards to air quality and scenery. People didn't live as long either, because they didn't have all the cures for diseases that we do today. There are pros and cons to any age though. I'm sure people will look back on our age and find things to criticize too.
