I think it might have been in that scene at the beginning that was cut - that it was for the more ceremonial stuff because it has a priestress-y look about it.
I agree that the others are prettier - more delicate and elegant.

You mean the one with the dying follower? I always assumed that the scene where Mab appears from a rock was spliced from that scene. But, come to think about it, your theory makes more sense. ^^

That's a thought- although, as Tosca says, I always thought the scene with her appearing from the rock was from that scene, as when the woman runs up to the Stonehenge, it appears to be sunset, and when Mab appears from the rock, it is also sunset, and then it cuts to the scene with the Lady of the Lake, where it seems to be more early morning-time. *is nerd*
Also, what's that shiny thing in front of Mab on that picture? I thought it might be the Lady of the Lake, although there are no other scenes with the two of them in as far as I'm aware.

I don't think it reaaly looks like the LotL. My guess would be that it's some kind of effect. Maybe. Perhaps.

Hmm... I thought it must be something was holding in the foreground, like a script. If you ask my similarly geeky opinion, she doesn't have a very Mab-ish expression. See? On the other hand, it could have been early on in filming or something, and was just one of the ideas they scrapped.

Ah, I see. Yeah, it might have been something like that, and they decided to change the hair and head-dress thing when it came to actully filming the scenes

A very wise decision.

Hmm...I was thinking, Who is older Mab or puddles? or could they be the same age?

Well, I imagine they're both extremely ancient. Puddles has apparently existed since the first raindrops began forming that lake of hers, or possibly longer. But as to which of them is older, or even if either of them is, I always took them to be roughly the same age.

Yes, ditto. It's how far they go back that's questionable. ^^
