I know many men women, straight gay bi people would marry Miranda if they were lucky enough. So what's your answer 'I do' or 'I do not' XD thought it'd jaz it up better then just yes or no XD I am one of the ones who is given the chance would love to marry her she's my perfect woman in everyway. Thought this would lighten up the forum a bit

My answer is "No, I would never marry her". I like her talent and have to say she's a beautiful woman and blah-blah, but I do not like her in that way. I'm neither gay nor bisexual. I'm heterosexual, or if you want to say "straight". So, no way

EarlyBird, You don't really mean that she is the perfect woman for you: the image of her (what you fantasize in your head about her) is the perfect woman for you. Imagine if she was really not very kind in real life - or walks around burping and farting all day LOL..... would you still want to tap that? - No, trust me, you wouldn't. And consider something else: she is much older than you. with Marriage comes sex. Would you wanna go down on a 75 year old - because thats what she will be in 20years when you are still in your 30s-40s or so (when you are in your prime she will sag). I wouldn't marry her for another reason - I am never getting married - I like being single too much. But I wouldn't mind spending a night if you catch my drift.

Ohpahleeze, of course Ali means that Miranda is her perfect woman, and I think she means that precisely because of what you say - fantasy. Isn't everyone's 'perfect woman' or 'perfect man', whether embodied by a celebrity or just a list of characteristics in their head, pure fantasy?

Rita, While you are 100% right, most people who marry know something about each other and find out (in most cases, not all) that there is a difference between the person they had a fatasy of and the one walking down the aisle with them. But I am not saying that you or Ali are wrong (no way), first, I have no right to suggest that, two I was only trying to get Ali to consider those things.
So lets put Ali to the question (which you don't have to answer, Ali):
Would you still marry her if you found out she has those nasty habits I made up about her?

Yeah I would, cause they are habits and people are only human. I love her alot and I don't care if she had nasty habits. I am sure she doesn't have those habits but if she did I wouldn't care. It's like saying to anyone even Miranda, she had a big crush on John wayne I think it was. You could of said to her 'if you wanted to marry him and he burped and farted would you?' she either would have said yes or 'no that's disgusting' who knows. Anyway I love her lots and her age doesn't bother me. Even my mum admits she doesn't look her age and that she is pretty. Anyway there is your answer.

Oh I know you're not saying anyone is wrong. Neither am I. I haven't even answered the poll, actually, and I probably won't, because marriage isn't my kind of fantasy *g*. I was just pointing out that this entire scenario is fantasy, and I'm pretty sure we all know that.

Ali,
When you say you "love her a lot" do you mean her or your image of her? And do you mean "love her" or are you "in love with her"?

I don't wanna answer anymore questions, some things are private. This post doesn't require an answer. Thanks for understanding.

I guess the interesting thing is that we all think differently and some of us 'older ones' have a different perspective on somethings. I know I've said this before to EB, but I also think that thoughts/opinions change with age... Well we are all here so we all have a couple of things in common at least. 1) We love Miranda 2) We are fasinated by the bruise on her leg And just so Ophaleeze is clear, for my part by 'love' I don't mean that I am in love with Miranda.

EarlyBird, You don't have to answer if you don't want to I'll respect that. But you are the one who initiated this "private" post topic.

marriaaageee...? errr, i still feel too young for that. I might enjoy rooming with her or something. But, like the others pointed out, she's a little old even though she's gorgeous, certainly a lot older than me. I feel like I would never be on equal ground with her just because she's so much older, experienced, and knowledgeable. I wouldn't be on equal ground with her mentally or in physical aspects.
Would I like to room with Mab? DEFINITELY. Because then it wouldn't matter. lol I would be so far beneath her no matter what I did. so I might as well enjoy what I can get while it lasts.

Basically, whether Miranda or Mab, if we did get along, I would likely view them as a mother or grandmother. I would never be able to view them as a partner or equal or something.
