www.imdb.com/title/tt0469761/It's called The First Day but there's hardly any information on it and the only cast member is Miranda and there is no crew. I could understand if it was in production because not everything is known about a film during this time but it was supposedly made in 1980. So is it a real film or not?

I'm not sure, but IMDb is most often accurate. I've never heard any other information about this film, though.

I googled and it and a few other sites mentioned the film with her name. But they could have got their information from IMDb. Nothing on google images. I'll keep looking.

I don't know anything about this film but I think it is dubious. IMDB is not always accurate, and once something is listed there it is copied by many other sites as gospel. Several years ago someone updated Mirandas entry to say she had been married to Rowan Atkinson (which I corrected), but many sites picked up on this. I haven't listed 'The First Day' on the website and won't until I can find an independent verification. All info I have found (and confirmed) is that Miranda's first credited screen role was in 'Agony' in 1981. Its possible of course that since 'The First Day' is a docu-drama that it was filmed when Miranda was still a student and thats why she features.

well since it's supposed to be a short film it could exist. I doubt it though.
