I had seen this pic before but never read that it said this was her home in the 1980's at some point. Bet she is living somewhere else now, or maybe not. But it looks cosy Just interested me when it said Miranda Richardson at home in the 1980 something

That's cool!! I am surprised she let a picture of her be taken in her home with her great desire for privacy! I like the candles burning throughout the room, it seems like a Miranda kind've of thing! Is that a light up Saturn on the right there? That is very random!

I think showing one bit of your house isn't really breaking her privacy, less she had picture of her and a boyfriend all around the house hehe, we wish we could see them if they were.

Oh!! I saw this picture before, I went a bit mad when I found out it was her house! (In a good way) I love how she decorated it! Espescially the lights because I've always loved that style!

Personally, I love the bookshelf (overfull, like mine) and the cat toy next to her foot. Well, I presume it's a cat toy, unless they just decided to throw a random dead mouse into the picture for effect. I bet she trod on that bastard in the middle of the night a few times .

Aw! That is cute that there is a random cat toy at her foot!! It makes it seem all the more realistic, like she is just chilling at home one day! I do love how that bookshelf is so stuffed full! That reminds me of my own!!!

That's exactly what I was thinking, overfull bookshelfs are obviously the best kind hehe She had it decorated really nicely and I love the candles. I looks warm and cosy and a little cluttered but in a good lived-in sort of way

It does seem to be typically British in some ways but I can't really explain well. Like I can see similarities between that house and a lot of houses I've been in, including my own. On the other hand, people's houses around the world might be like that haha I think a lot of people's houses are like... tidy but you can tell that there's a lot of things just been stuffed away (for example on a bookshelf). Does that make any sense at all?

I don't know i guess a lot of houses are like that. I've seen really clean american houses and really 'not' clean american houses. we seem to have an incredible variety and you never know what you're going to walk into.
