I haven't seen the Apostle yet and now I can't say I'm entirely looking forward to it! lol

I didn't like The Young Victoria. I think it was more because I was looking forward to it so much and I thought I was going to love it. The more I watch The Phantom of the Opera, the less I like it. I think Miranda plays Madame Giry very well, but I don't like the film that much any more.

It's kind of like a scary movie, the first time you watch it you are really jumpy and stuff (depending on the movie and how you react) but then after you watch it again its never quite the same. I think, I haven't watched many scary movies more then one to three times. With a few exceptions of course. I will definitely have to watch The Crying Game again sometime soon. I know a lot of people love that movie, and I've seen it on many lists and stuff on the internet. I was probably in a bad mood or tired or something when I watched it. Now that I think more about how I was feeling while watching it, it was actually pretty good. I'm just remembering the part in the middle, I guess I found it was going on to long without Jude. It probably wasn't even that long was it? Ah well.... it seemed like an eternity to me!

TPOTO, helen said the more she watches it the less she likes it, comparing to a scary movie, the more you watch it the less it scares you.

You've started quite an interesting topic there, my dear bluebell! My personal 'unfavourites' are "Alice in Wonderland", and well, let's just say I'm not too keen on Hallmark productions either ( I guess it must be our age ). "Mio Caro Dottor Gräsler" is a teeeerrrible movie, which I sat through once and can't remember much of ... I must've blocked that particular traumatic memory.

Regarding Hallmark, I agree with you bluevienna. The funny thing is though, I loved Merlin when it came out all those years ago, and that is Hallmark. I haven't seen it for sometime, so not sure what I'd think of it now.

I think mostly Miranda saves Hallmark for me. And Martin Short, everything else is not so good, methinks.

Chicken Run the film depresses me i dunno it's that and the film Wallace and Gromet those type of films give me the creeps and depress me so much. Why, I don't know.

That's weird. I really like them, I think they're hilarious. Do you like Corpse Bride?

I know, lol. No I can't watch that either I think it could be because when I was really small I had nightmares about getting sucked into a program like that not a cartoon or something with real people just animation. I was the same with black and white movies until recently. And you know when you see a first episode of a cartoon from ages ago like the first ever Simpsons that freaked me out to but the Simpsons in general I am ok with. I used to think I would get pulled into them and because they were cartoonish I would never get out. I was a queer child ;D

Haha it's ok. I still have nightmares about Mr. Blobby... all my friends went to Blobbyland and I had to stay home because I was petrified hahaha! So I was a queer child too... I used to have nightmares about indoor markets!
