Period pieces are the BEST!!!!! I just love them to bits!! I also love History!!! I am not the fastest learner, but I do try to remember history! History is definitely my favourite subject, I took all of the History courses at my school! Sadly this year there was only two, but I also took the courses that had History aspects to it, like Art and Law, they have the history of Law and Art History. It's just so interesting!

I wish we had better History classes at my school! I had to take a class on U.S. government, then I took Honors Global Studies, which was pretty enjoyable! This year I am taking Advanced Placement U.S. history, which (if I pass) is worth college credit! I really wish we had a course on British History, since I would ace that class with all my knowledge! So I am stuck just learning about all this history through books! But I do love reading and sensing the fact that I am gaining new knowledge! I am such a nerd! Hehe! Oh and also learning through fabulous period movies!!

Oohh whats Honors Global Studies about? Is it worldy stuff like it says or is it about America? US History seems pretty interesting, but my school doesn't offer it, but I do learn about Canada and Britain, which is fine with me!!!! There just isn't a class for British alone, it is mixed in with the Canadian.

Honors Global was pretty good, it covered history in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America, and maybe there was a little on Canada. It was very interesting, but I wish we focused on Europe more! I had a really great teacher and I thought it was a fairly easy class! I do enjoy U.S. history, mainly Revolutionary War, and I think that class will be interesting when I start it on Tuesday, although I have heard it is very difficult. I don't know a lot of Canadian history, except like when the explorers discovered it, and I would like to learn more. Do you enjoy Canadian history?

Honors Global sounds awsome!! It's to bad it didn't focus more on Europe! At least you could study a little about it at school, it makes school loads more enjoyable when you get to learn about things you like! Was the Revolutionary War when you broke away from Britain? Sorry I just really don't know much about American History! Maybe after High School I can go to anotehr High School that offers American History, it sounds so interesting from the US History movies I have seen like National Treasure. Hehe I actually don't remember that much about the explorers, but yes I do love Canadian History!! A lot of it has to do with Britain as well so that might make it more interesting to me, I'm not sure. Overall I think I really like it! Have fun tomorow!!! YOUNG VICTORIA!!!!!!!

Honors Global was great! I am not sure what history class I am gonna take next year, so I will have to see what other classes they have that focus on Europe. I do love when I enjoy a class, school does seem better and then I enjoy learning! Yep, the Revolution was when we broke away from Britain. I know it is random that I love the Revolution, which is against England, and then I love everything else to do with England!! I hate war, but I am fascinated by the history surrounding this war. I love National Treasure! It is an amazing movie I have watched a million times! Have you seen the second one? I love it! Helen Mirren is in it and she is such an amazing actress! I will have to look up on Canadian history, I would like to know more! The fact that it has to do a lot with Britian would make it really interesting to me too!! I just love history! I wish there were more historic movies out around here! I hope Miranda gets in more, like The Lost Prince, since her being in them makes them a hundred times better!! Thanks! I know I will have a blast at the movie!!

The only History class that my school offers next year is World History, I guess it will be like Honors Global? I just read that it is about the 16th century to the present. I hate war too, but one of my favourite units in History was World Wars 1 and 2! There are still other classes that study History though, they just aren't defined as History courses. I will probably take a few of them.
OMG I LOVE BOOK OF SECRETS!!! I love Helen Mirren in it!!!! She is so great!! Did you happen to see her in Phèdre over the summer?

Young Victoria was AMAZING!!!!!! I had so much fun! We were almost late (it was 25 minutes from my house) to the theater, but we made it in just as it was starting. It was a really little theater and it was almost completely full. When Miranda came on screen I smiled crazily and wacked Becca and my mom on their arms! I kept giggling silently when she was on screen! I don't think I have ever knowingly seen a Miranda movie in theaters! I saw Goblet of Fire, but I wasn't a fan when I saw it. Becca loved Young Victoria!!! We spent the ride home discussing British royalty! Oh my gosh, in the theater they had an entire wall covered with Alice in Wonderland posters!! We went crazy!! ;D
I hope you enjoy World History, I am sure it is just like Honors Global. I just started A.P. U.S. and it doesn't seem to bad. I know it is going to be a lot of work, but I really liked the reading we had about history! I am hoping I will enjoy the class and won't be too stressed about it. Luckily, even if I do get a ton of work, I have a bunch of easy classes otherwise.
Helen Mirren is awesome!! I have not seen Phèdre. I haven't even heard of it. Is this a new movie she is in?

Thats great you had an awsome time!!! Ya the theatre that I go to (not the one int the town I live) has three giant Alice posters!!! Its awsome!!!!!! I stare at them whenever I am there!! I`ll be very sad when they take them down, happily though, they have been up for months!!! The theatre is about 25 minutes away too, coincidently. You have never seen a Miranda movie in theatres? This is going to be crazy for me seeing it in theatres, it must have been insane for you!! I think I have only seen three as a fan. Chicken Run I saw in theatres but I wasn`t a fan then. I saw Phantom, Goblet of Fire, and Fred Claus. Fred Claus I saw 3 times and Goblet of Fire I saw 3 times. Helen Mirren is great!!!! No it isn`t a movie, it was a play she was in on stage in London, I can`t remember when it was there though. I saw it at the theatre, they sometimes play stuff from The Metropolitan Opera and from the London Stage. I have only ever seen the one. I wanted to see this one with Micheal Gambon but I missed it like an idiot. They only played it twice.

I wish Miranda would be in theaters in more movies near me! I hate that so many of them are only in England! I did totally flip out to see Miranda on the big screen! If I had the opportunity to see more in theaters I totally would! I wish we had theater productions at the movies near me! That sounds awesome, I know there are lots of plays wish I could see. It would be so convinent to just see there in theaters. I am already stressing in A.P. U.S. and it has barely started! That is why I feel bad today, stayed up too late working on homework. But I am still enjoying most of the history that I am reading in the class. Schools not too bad, though.

Ya, I wish we had more British movies in theatres, we get the dvds, but never in theatres. Some of them do come, like the Film Festival ones and such, but other then that, hardly ever! Unless it's something like Sherlock Holmes, Sweeney Todd, or Harry Potter, which all came. They are all AWSOME! We did get Becoming Jane, The Duchess, and something else that I can't remember, which is sad because I did see it. Ya, and now we are getting live shows apparently, don't know when but someone told me that. I think that would be awsome!!!! Phedre was cool enough! I also saw Ceaser and Cleopatra with Christopher Plummer, but I think that might be different since it was a Stratford production, and Stratford pretty local. It's in Ontario anyway. Ohhhh You already have a lot of homework? It's what, the first week? Maybe second? That really sucks!!! I have been stressing a lot. I'm right in the middle of exams. Today was Art History, tomorow is English, and Wednesday is Law, then on Friday I have a presentation for History which I am not done yet... Oh boy. Don't stay up to late! You need to be awake to remember everything in History! Have fun with your new courses!!

There was a behind the scenes clip shown at the Academy Awards just now!! Did anyone else see it? It was only a few seconds long but it's still cool! They showed it when they were doing the award for make-up and Miranda was in it!

Oh the Young Victoria won for best costumes!!! They were brilliant, every costume was fantastic! I'm so happy the designer won! Omg also this is pretty random but they did a special for horror movies throughout the history of film and Sleepy Hollow was in it a few times! It was really really scary though! It was like watching a whole bloody horror movie in a few minutes, me and my sister were actually screaming. After we're like, how sad are we? The intro to the horror special was sooo cool though!! Also Helen Mirren is there and she has a glittery dress on and she looks like an adorable little faerie!! And Meryl is beautiful in a white gown!
