It seems that copyright companies have become pretty tight lately. There are so many videos that are getting deleted and so many of the audios are getting muted. It's really sad and annoying. We are giving these people free publicity!

I totally agree. I think these companies need to adapt to the digital age. Sure, this is copyrighted material on youtube, but do these companies really think that that's any competition for them? Youtube is ultimately unsatisfying. The internet is ephemeral and no one watching a video knows if it's going to be there the next time they want to see it. The quality is bad. People have to watch things in ten minute clips. Anyone who likes something they see on Youtube enough is going to go and buy it, and anyone who doesn't buy it wouldn't have been going to anyway. I've watched pretty much every Eddie Izzard clip available on Youtube, but I still bought the box set. And if I'd never seen him on YT, I wouldn't have had a clue who he was.

I agree and on many of my vids, well a few there is now a download from itunes button for the songs. This is a great way of doing it. They put it there themselves.

Exactly, there are so many things that I would never have heard about before, and then after seeing/hearing them on youtube, I liked them so much I went out and bought them. I really liked your comment about Youtube as well. People want to get these things in perfect quality and youtube is not the way to go.
Ali I agree, I really like the download from itunes button. It allows the companies to sell the things you are posting, it really helps them more. A study I researched last year showed that after a song illegally leaked onto the internet a week before its CD release, it became so well known that on the day of its release tons of albums were sold. I think that the copyright companies definitely need to think about it more.
