Awh, keep trying! You managed to get the most desirable egg, after all. If I can manage to make them breed, perhaps I can gift you some eggs.

I finally managed to snag a gold egg! the hourly drops don't seem to be happening lately. i may be in america, but my connection still isn't very fast. its very hard to grab an egg when you've got several hundred people all trying to grab the same egg. best thing to do, is to stay patient and keep trying, and hopefully, eventually you'll get what you want.

Yay! Congrats!
They do look rather weird though, don't they?

The autumns aren't very attractive, but I guess it's the whole idea of them being rare that makes them appealing. I've tried a few times to get them, but of course I'm not fast enough. I've seen several paper ones too that I couldn't get. Right now though, I'm trying to gather one of each of the common ones.

I rather like the eggs, actually, and what I've seen of the adult sprites. Not as fond of the hatchlings, though. Maybe because they look pretty much the same as the summer ones, only different colours.

They're just a little too close to Pokemon for my comfort, methinks.

Yay!
Also, I noticed on the last page that someone mentioned the enormous piles of black and vine eggs that appear from time to time. I have a bit of a theory on that. I think it's sort of an ongoing thing. Has anyone noticed that it sorts of tends to happen at a similar time each week? Obviously, everyone is breeding their vines and blacks to try and get alts, and they end up not getting them, or getting surplus eggs, which end up on the abandoned page. And people pick those up, and then, a week later, wham, they're all grown up, and everyone breeds them again and the abandoned page fills up with vines and blacks. y/y?

yes all the greens and blacks are from failed alt breedings. I just figured out one of the green eggs I bred a long time ago was an alt egg. but I abandoned it because I couldn't tell it was an alt. >.< so someone else has it now. it's so hard to tell the difference between normal and alt. @_@ but I do have a black alt now.

Yeah, I figured it was failed breeding. Yesterday the abandoned section had 10 lines of vines and blacks! It's annoying, but once my black grows up I'll probably get in on it too. Question: if there are alt vine and blacks, are the silver ones alt white? I don't see an excess of white in the abandoned, so I would guess the silver are separate.

Yes, the silvers are those standing-on-their-tails-type things.
Also: Paint my nipples and call me Edgar, I managed to snag a second autumn egg!

Hee, me too! Wtf how odd. The second one I actually got from the MAIN CAVE.
Also, apparently alt black and vine eggs will now look exactly the same as the normal ones, so it'll totally be luck of the draw whether you kee the right one or not -_-. Brilliant.
