dragons can only breed once a week regardless if the breeding is successful or not. I forgot to tell you how much I love your siggy Maellowyn! If anyone wants to see the eggs they abandoned from breeding then all you have to do is look at the adult dragon's page it will show its children. Thanks :-) the siggy was made by LadyoftheNight - I'm so glad about it. *dances happily around* I hope my green dragon can breed again one day - till now it still didn't work... Incapability - I know you are - my abanoned ones have died - wish I had kept them :-(

Yay! The baby hatched! I just hope it will get to the growing up stage ...
Is it in any way weird that I'm so concerned for a bunch of pixels that isn't even in my care anymore?

Of course not - it beats caring for bunches of actual molecules.

I'm a little creeped out by my black egg - it already has more views than each of my grown dragons, and an absurdly high number of them seems to be coming back, and back, and back. How come?

Did you pick it up from the abandoned page? Someone might have got it some views for you before you picked it up. If you keep getting a high number of views, perhaps the person who bred it posted it somewhere high-traffic before they abandoned it, and it's still there.

That might explain it. Though the number of views is absurd. The views are over ten times higher than the unique views - I just hope it won't get sick.

Something has been wrong with the fansite for a day or so. It says the site is suspended and disabled or something. Does this happen often?

I've never seen it before. They moved recently. I hoped thry haven't used up their bandwidth or something. Since it went down, I've been posting my dragons here as well. I think I like the dcfansite better, though, and hopefully it comes back soon.

do you know how annoying it is to keep seeing rare eggs on the page, but not be able to click on them fast enough? I saw a paper and silver this morning and failed to catch either. And I've seen a few silvers, golds, and 1 dino in the past.

Yessss, I feel your pain, believe me. Someone tried to give me a dino hatchling today but someone stole it out from under us. I wasn't terribly bothered, since I hadn't actually been expecting it, but still, annoying. I think they should have a better system of trade.

The Daily Dragon Fix-site seems to be down too. - the link doesn't work anymore. But on thedcfansite.freehostia.com/ emergency eggs can be posted as an alternative to the DragCaveFanpage. I wish I could get a rare egg too.

Aye now I have to register for new...
But you are right - They should think of a better trading system. For example a button "Trade" under the Actions, where you only have to fill in the code and the scroll name you're trading with.

i found out what's up with dcfansite. its explained here: dragcaveforum.technoized.com/index.php?showtopic=6670apparently she had too much traffic on her site and managed to crash a bunch of other websites that were using the same server so her host refuses to host her website anymore
