LOL : Let's have more Black Adder with Miranda in it for sure, and if necessary have a replacement for Rowan Atkinson, should he not care to reprise his role. "Black Adder in the 21st. Century" might be the title. All of us would Love It !!!

Blackadder without Rowan just wouldn't be Blackadder. I'd rather see Miranda move on to new things than see an old classic ruined.

On the other hand, though, if they did ever want to make another scripted Blackadder special, they might do various skit type scenes with already existing characters.
For example, I just read this on wikipedia: Sir John Harington invented the first flushing toilet for himself and for his godmother, Queen Elizabeth I, in 1596. Now, I'm totally imagining Queenie being all '*flush* hehehehe'.

Rita, We're both Black Adder fans and we both hope that the memory, at least, of this funny satire survives whatever its veteran actors do. They have all aged since the 1980's (or even New Year's 2000) and time changes all of us, even actors who participated in a Hit. I see Miranda playing a future Queen or Prime Minister of Britain, and Rowan plays a future Edmond Black Adder who wants to launch Britain into the 21st Century ( with unexpected results). If not, then we will understand if all of them might say, "that was great but Enough after all these years." All are middle-aged now and maybe they might do a brand new series in the "spirit" of Black Adder., but something brand new........We shall see.

Oh I saw that interview on youtube! I'll post the link if anyone hasn't seen it. She looks so cute! Love the pic of her with normal clothes & the Queenie hair! She's so adorable! Sorry about all the exclamation marks, when talking about Miranda I get very enthusiastic.
