I doubt it, Helena Bonham Carter only just managed to get into HBP! It would be lovely to see more Rita though, Miranda played her PERFECTLY! Oh, and apologies, feel free to delete our OT conversation if you'd like.

Me too but she's not necessary (according to them, I think she is because she is one of the few characters I really love that are played perfectly). Helena only just made it into OOTP, the had about 5 lines and like 3 of them were cut!

I'm upset about the Emma Thompson thing. She'd can't take some time away from stupid Nanny McPhee for HP? I wanted to see her throw crystal balls at people in the final movie.

This why I prefer the books when they do a film they change things and sometimes actors can't turn up.

Miranda won't be coming back as Rita, unfortunately. If they didn't put her in OOTP or at the funeral in HBP, they're hardly goign to bring her back for the adaption of a book Rita wasn't actually *in*. If we're lucky, they might use some unused GoF footage for moving pictures on the book, but that's about all we can hope for, I think.
I too am kind of sad about Emma Thompson not returning, but since Nanny McPhee is actually her project, I can totally see why it's more important to her.
I think also that Ciaran Hinds has been cast as Aberforth, which is pretty cool. He is awesome. I don't know if that one's confirmed yet or not, but I definitely read it. It surprised me, because I guess I thought (for some reason) that Gambon would play that part too.

I didn't know Emma Thompson wasn't coming back! Oh no! She was great as Trewlany! I was actually in tears when Umbridge kicked her out, she just looked so helpless bless her! But I agree, I can see why Nanny McPhee would be more important to her.

They've cast Bill and he looks pretty good to me. The actor is Brendan Gleeson's (Mad-Eye Moody's) son.

Where did you find this? I can't seem to find that news.
*Nevermind, I see it. I'm also happy John Hurt is supposed to be coming back.

I wish they would have put Rita in at least the Order of the Phoenix, because that is the book that her part is second biggest in. The first being the Goblet of Fire obviously. Harry only sees her in the Half Blood Prince, and she's only really mentioned a lot in the Deathly Hallows. I wish Helena Bonham Carter could be in the movies more!! Bellatrix is one of my top favorite characters, and a big part of that comes from Helena. I loved Bellatrix before but I LOVE LOVE LOVE her now!! I was so mad when I saw the Order of the Phoenix, they cut out so many of her lines and actions and stuff. It really pissed me off. I was also really mad that they cut out pretty much all of Professor McGonagall's scenes, she was kickass in the book! Both McGonagall and Bellatix better have more scenes in the new movies! Oh and it is true that John Hurt is coming back. I was so happy about that, same with Dobby, they are getting the guy who originally did the voice for Dobby. And as for Aberforth, I don't mind that they chose who they did (so far), but I thought that Aberforth was in the Order of the Phoenix? As the barman in the Hog's Head? I remember a few years ago I read on Mugglenet and a few other fan sites that that man was Aberforth. But I just looked on IMDB and it just said that he was the Barman. So I have no idea. I am soo excited for the Half Blood Prince! I was sooo angry that they changed the release from November to July, espescially since it was replaced by Twilight. But I guess now they have had more time to perfect it and make it even better. And besides they had a good reason for changing the release.

I agree! Bella and McGonagall are awesome! I was so angry at Umbridge in the book where they hospitalise Minerva! As much as I like to see her well I was gutted they didn't put it in the film. I'm glad they're bringing John Hurt back, he was excellent as Olivander.

I agree I hate Umbridge but I think the character is really great. I was gutted to when the hospital scene was cut. As for Olivander: I always had this really cool idea they could do a sort of spin off thingy. It could be him telling the story about how he seen the two wars and maybe a bit about Snape, Lily, James, Lupin etc growing up.

Oh that'd be cool. Oh, since we're on the subject of Harry Potter, what did you guys think of the epilogue?
