www.imdb.com/title/tt0417741/I checked today and at last my friend Tony is on the list as young Lucius. Along with people playing the other young new students. And Tom Riddle. I think this film will be good. And when I get to see it seeing someone I have spoke to in a big movie will be awesome. I am glad Bellatrix is in it and I hope that Narcissa is going to be great. Should be a good one.

I'm looking forward to it as well, but I've noticed that after the last book was released my interest has drained a lot. I guess now that I know everything, I don't feel the need to watch the old movies, or read the old books anymore. I will see the final movies though, of course.

Ugh Narcissa's casting concerns me. I really don't know wtf they were thinking there. Helen Mcrory was originally playing Bella, and so they just threw her the part of Narcissa, which she has completely the wrong colouring for. Seriously, the only similarity she has to narcissa is that she's female and white. Wtf, WB.

When I found the new name I searched for them on google pics. I can say I dunno if she'll look right for it. But maybe she'll surprise us and look and be right. I'd love at the end of the film Rita to randomly walk on across the credits ha. Random thing I just thought. Anyway I hope this will be a good movie.

I really was shocked when I read that she would be playing Narcissa - I mean she has absolutely nothing of the ethereal cold beauty of a Malfoy - she is so un-malfoyish and the total contrary to the Narcissa I imagined.

I agree that Helen McCrory is a strange casting for Narcissa. She is so not how I imagined her at all. I'm glad she wasn't cast as Bellatrix though, I love Helena Bonham Carter and it is so awsome that she got to be Bellatrix! I can't wait to see her in the next few films!

Maybe Helena should have played both parts - like Miranda did Lady of the Lake and Mab in Merlin. Anything would be better than McCrory!!

God, I HATE THAT CASTING CHOICE SO MUCH. I mean, seriously, anyone would think there was like, a shortage of willowy blondes in the acting business. I've seen promo pics of her, and not only does she have the horrible hair, but they've dressed her up in green tweed, like a different coloured version of Umbridge's skirt-suit. It's totally, totally wrong for her.
What were you thinking, WB? What about Kristin Scott-Thomas, or Joley Richardson, or a dozen other actresses better suited? WHYYYY?

Tw- Tweed?
I always envisioned her in flowy, silky long dresses in light blue or silver-grey, to go with her pale complexion.
Green tweed - just. No.
Edit: I just googled the picture where she and Snape are taking the Unbreakable Vow, and she looks like she's gonna slap his hands for not doing his homework properly any moment.
Dang it. And I was so looking forward to her.

Oh, geez, I'm scared now. I agree that whoever made the casting/costuming choices must've been out of their minds.

INORITE.
Also, she's obviously older than Helena, which is all bloody wrong, since Narcissa is the YOUNGEST Black. Which is probably minor, in the end, but it pisses me off anyway (in a way that Alan Rickman's casting certainly doesn't).

Too bad that the movie is already finished and changes aren't possible anymore - I mean they must have noticed the disapproval for her. Nowhere in the I-net I have read something positive, the fans on harry-potter-xperts aren't happy with that choice either. And yes there would have been thousands of better ways for casting a Narcissa Malfoy. Why don't they involve the taste of their fans by making movies of that sort? (Don't they want to earn money with that?)
@incapa I know what you mean with that horrible picture - there is absolutely no passion in it and she seems not even half so desperate as she was in the books.
